New Associate Director at BDI – Karl Marshall

We’re delighted to announce Karl Marshall is re-joining BDI as Associate Director.

His return to BDI marks an exciting chapter for our Structural and Civil Engineering team as we continue to expand.

Karl worked with BDI for 6 years only leaving in 2020, as his family moved to the Midlands area, so we’re all really delighted to welcome him back in his new role as Associate Director of BDI heading up Structural and Civil Engineering projects in the Midlands & South.

Karl personally specialises in design and detailing of structural projects with advanced knowledge of CAD, 3D modelling, and Revit software, and works alongside the BDI team of structural and civil engineers.

Lime Tree barn commencement on site

Work on site has now started at Lime Tree Barn in Ashover. This is the second consecutive collaboration with Care Chiles and Evans Architects converting a historic and dilapidated barn structure into residential accommodation. Work on site is anticipated to take approximately one year.
