We’re pleased to announce that Artemis Barn in Castleton is now complete. To celebrate our client held a project completion party in November last year to celebrate the success of the project with the design team, site team and friends and family.
The project involved careful restoration and conversion of the historic barn into a contemporary private home. A number of insertions required a collaborative structural response; a folded steel plate staircase runs up to a link bridge between the sleeping accommodation and a mezzanine. A stress skinned panel booth forms a music room.
The architect’s for the project were Chiles Evans + Care Architects.
