Refurbishment of an existing 7 storey reinforced concrete framed office building into self-contained studio apartments in Liverpool City Centre. Two additional storeys were added over the existing roof formed in lightweight materials, to ensure that the maximum potential for extension was achieved without compromising the existing structure and foundations.

We worked alongside the steelwork fabricators to design the external canopies. The end result was a design which not only offered an architecturally pleasing solution, but one which has aided the speed and complexity of the fabrication process.
