We’re delighted to announce Micaela Maccan is now a Director at BDI!
Micaela joined BDI in 2017 after graduating with a MEng in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Leeds and has consistently worked her way up through the business and we’re delighted she’s now joining the Management Board.
Knowledgeable in a range of sectors, Micaela has established a strong base in the leisure, residential and commercial sectors, successfully delivering projects throughout the North West. Micaela’s passion is with existing buildings and she has extensive experience working on the extension, adaption and renovation of existing buildings including a number of historic or listed buildings.
With this promotion Micaela will work closely with fellow Directors; Steve Gill and Nick Forman, whilst continuing her responsibility managing one of the BDI Structural design teams, leading the BDI team that works predominantly on the alteration and extension of existing buildings, and nurturing new talent by proactively supporting and expanding the knowledge of the junior engineers.
