This project involved the structural design of the super and substructure, and provided advice and guidance relating to the public sewers running through the site. The chosen structural scheme comprises of a steel portal frame extension affixed to the existing structure. The structure is clad to match the existing factory.

A curved roof compliments the substantial cantilever overhangs around the structure. BDI also provided structural design of a foundation slab to support a new nitrogen vessel, to aid the increased output of the growing business. The completed project provided a productive loading bay that has increased factory efficiency.
