Describe your role at BDI and the key areas you specialise in?
My role at BDI is essentially the hub of operational support and the primary point of contact for the business. I handle the multifaceted range of administrative, organisational, and support tasks necessary to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
While my role is broad, I specialise in several key areas where I deliver strategic value, including operational streamlining and cost optimisation, strategic communication, customer experience, BDI projects, event management, and integrated business support (Finance and HR).
What kind of projects do you typically work on?
Projects that directly support the business’s strategic goals, including process improvement, compliance and documentation, vendor contract reviews and renegotiations, and a range of regular and ad hoc projects as required.
What do you enjoy most about working at BDI Structural Solutions?
Our wonderful team. Building relationships with clients and suppliers and receiving positive feedback. The varied and busy workload. Problem-solving.
What’s been your most memorable project at BDI so far?
I enjoyed relocating offices because it was a tangible project with a clear beginning and end, a complex challenge that I could break down into a series of manageable steps. I had to consider many different factors and bring everything together into one cohesive plan. It was a high-pressure situation, but the feeling of accomplishment when everything fell into place and everyone was able to get back to work was satisfying.
