After graduating from the University of Salford with a first class honours degree in Structural Engineering Steve joined BDI.

Within the practice Steve has led the structural design of numerous technically challenging bespoke residential and commercial developments, including the renovation and change of use of existing multistorey buildings. In addition to this he has realised, from conception, the design of complex basement structures often extending up to the site boundaries and/or below existing buildings.

He works actively with clients, architects, contractors and developers delivering buildable solutions.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you?

Stranded on a desert island, I’d want a fishing rod, a machete and a lighter. I could survive with these things, anything else is a bonus!

To stop time, to make the most of everything.
