Meg Papazoglou
Graduate Structural Engineer

Graduate Structural Engineer
In 2022, Meg achieved a first-class honours degree in MEng Civil and Architectural Engineering from the University of Salford, where she had been studying since 2017, and, if that wasn’t enough, she also completed a placement year during this period to gain some valuable experience in the industry.
Before attending university, Meg was following one of her other passions and coaching gymnastics, which is completely different from her job at BDI!
More about Meg…
If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose and why?
I would have loved to have met Neil Armstrong, I love space and would have loved to have asked him what it was like up there.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
Greece, with my family.
What is the worst job you have ever done?
I don’t think I’ve disliked any jobs I’ve had!
What is your favourite food?
I think I am biased to say Greek food… but I am also partial to Asian cuisine, anything like ramen, gyoza etc.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you?
A boat (does that count?), a knife, and a water purifier.
What item, that you don’t have already, would you most like to own?
I’d love to have a dog.
What are your hobbies / favourite pastimes?
I play the piano and enjoy gaming. I used to dance/do gymnastics so try to do that when I can.
